One-touch Release |
| The "one-touch release" is used to
join the female connector (attached to the jacket) and the male connector
(at the end of the "coiled wire" attached to the motorcycle). When
getting on the motorcycle, connect the two. |
|
|
Hold both sides of the female connector
and insert the male connector. A clicking sound will confirm that
a connection has been made. Then tug on the male connector to make
sure that the connection has been made properly.
|
|
|
Do not touch the red press button
on the female connector while inserting the male connector, as this
may result in a faulty connection and the male connector may disengage
unexpectedly.
|
|
|
If the red press button on the female
connector cannot be pressed down properly, or the male connector cannot
be inserted into the female connector because of sand, dust, or other
foreign substances in the female connector, it should be replaced.
Any forced connection may cause a malfunction of the "Hit Air".

 |
Coiled Wire |
| The "coiled wire" consists of a kevlar
cord (yellow) and a wire inside a urethane sheath (black) outside.
|
| If cracking, peeling or damage from
wear or burns is evident or the kevlar wire inside becomes visible,
replace it immediately. Otherwise, it may break when it is pulled,
or slip out of the loop setter. Each user must assume responsibility
for the maintenance and replacement of the "coiled wire". |
 |
Loop Setter |
| The loop setter is used to secure
the "coiled wire" after its length is adjusted and attached to the
motorcycle. |
| Place the "coiled wire" in the grooves
of the loop setter and tighten it firmly with the screws provided.
Make sure that the two surfaces of the loop setter are seated tightly
without any gap between them. |
 |
Protector Tube |
| Pass the "coiled wire" through the
protector tube to protect the part of the wire wound around the motorcycle
frame or handlebar etc. Cut the excess tube depending on the shape
of the part to which the "coiled wire" is attached. |
