*If
the "Hit Air" has inflated take note of the following:
|
|
The "Hit Air" Jacket
is designed to provide protection especially to the wearer's neck,
therefore when it is inflated there will be some pressure around the
neck. If it is difficult to undo the helmet strap, just undo the jacket
front to relieve the pressure. |
|
|
Following an accident,
immediately go to a safe area before removing the jacket. |
|
|
After inflation, the
gas will escape gradually through the gas release valve and any feeling
of pressure will subside within 5 to 10 seconds. Therefore, remain
calm even if the pressure of the jacket is momentarily restricting
movement. |
|
|
If the "Hit Air" inflates
accidentally for some reason while riding, remain calm and look for
a safe place to pull off the road. To continue riding with the inflated
"Hit Air" may be dangerous due to the increased wind resistance etc.
Remove it first. |
|
|
Be aware of the points
listed below when attempting to re-assemble the "Hit Air" after it
is activated.
| * |
Whether it has external damage.
(holes, scratches, tears etc.) ) |
| * |
Whether it inflated properly
(whether or not the gas escaped quickly due to external damage
or tubing puncture.) |
| * |
Confirm that the new replacement
gas cartridge is the same as original supplied with the jacket.
|
Review the points listed above and
if there are no problems, reassemble the "Hit Air" carefully. If in
doubt, consult with an authorised dealer. It may not work as designed
if there are external or internal damages. |
